Welcome to Mission Save Montana, where our passion is to bring the life-changing message of the Gospel to every home in the beautiful state of Montana. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and experience the hope, love, and salvation that He offers.
At Mission Save Montana, we are committed to spreading the Gospel through our unique gift box outreach program. Our goal is to reach every household in Montana with a tangible expression of the free gift of God’s grace and mercy, delivered right to their doorstep. Each gift box is filled with essential items and literature that share the love of Jesus Christ and offer hope to those in need.
Our mission is driven by the following core principles:
- Sharing the Love of Christ: We believe that the Gospel is a message of love, grace, and redemption. Our mission is to share this love with every person in Montana, regardless of background, circumstance, or belief.
- Bringing Hope to Communities: Montana is more than just our home—it’s our mission field. We are committed to reaching every corner of our state with the hope of the Gospel, bringing light into the darkness and transforming lives and communities for the glory of God.
- Edifying Our Christian Brothers and Sisters: We believe in the power of partnership and Christian edification. Our goal is that every believer that receives a box will also find tools, knowledge, and encouragement from our outreach. We also operate a blog and provide additional resources to help strengthen the faith of believers.
- Uniting Church Leaders and Evangelists: We recognize we are stronger together. Our mission is to unite believers and faith leaders across Montana to a common purpose—to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to every home in our state. Together, as the body of Christ, we can make a profound impact on our communities and see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.

Who Are We?
The Anderson Family Story
Curious about who runs Mission Save? We started as a small, one-family Christian missionary ministry dedicated to bringing the gift of the Gospel to every home in the state of Montana. Since then, we’ve grown and now have a small team of volunteers. Still, there are no other overseers or organizations at the top. Our mission is fueled by a deep passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ and bringing hope to individuals and families throughout Montana.
Our family comes from a unique background. Both Mr. and Mrs. Anderson grew up outside of the Church (one of us from an atheist background; the other from a Mormon/Pagan background). We both came to the knowledge of Christ and were saved by God’s grace as adults. Our backgrounds both gave us inspiration to reach out to others like us with the message of God’s redeeming love. Wanting to do more to help others find the peace that we found, we felt called to embark on a mission of outreach and evangelism. What better place to begin than in our own backyard?
Our vision is to reach every corner of Montana with the Gospel. But we realize that the modern day provides modern challenges. Getting the Gospel into homes is hard, and most people do not respond to traditional door-knocking as well anymore post-Covid (even though we still do this traditional approach as well, in certain circumstances!).
That is why we developed our unique gift box outreach program. Each gift box is carefully assembled with essential items and literature that share the love and message of Jesus Christ. Every single piece of these boxes is carefully curated and placed with symbolism in mind. These gift boxes serve as a tangible expression of God’s grace, opening the way for the recipient to understand what the Bible means by “free gift” of salvation. While many people will turn down door knocking evangelism, very few people will turn down a free gift at their door! (There is also a lot less pressure in taking one’s time to read through a gift box compared to when strangers show up at your door). We hope that this new method will be fruitful given the new challenges of the modern day.
We eventually hope to be able to incorporate more substantial items in our boxes, and we now also provide specific aid boxes to those most in-need in our communities (unhoused, prison populations, et cetera). Our hope for the future of this project is to expand it even further.
Montana is more than just our home—it’s our mission field. From the cities to the remote countryside, we are committed to reaching every corner of our state with the Gospel message. We believe that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love, and we are dedicated to bringing His light into the entire state.
